Entertainment Complex Breaks Ground in Liberty Township

Liberty Township, Ohio…Liberty Collective, a new 18,000 square foot entertainment complex on 3.44 acres held their groundbreaking event in Liberty Township, Ohio on August 1, 2023.

“This will be one of the iconic places in Liberty Township,” said Liberty Township Trustee, Todd Minniear.

Liberty Collective will feature five restaurant concepts, a coffee/breakfast bar, an ice cream shoppe and three bars including a wine/bourbon bar. The complex will feature multiple televisions, private event spaces and weekly entertainment. Surrounding the building, will be 5 multi-functional sand volleyball courts, outdoor bocce ball courts, ping pong tables, cornhole sets and a large green space for events. There will be indoor and outdoor seating on both sides of the complex, as well as on the 2nd floor patio. This patio will be enclosed during the winter months to allow guests to play golf in indoor simulator bays.

“This is a great opportunity for this area,” noted Liberty Township Trustee, Tom Farrell. “Thank you for investing in Liberty Township.”

The complex is excited to partner with local resident Rob Long, Founder of Ohio Valley Beach Volleyball and three-time Olympian Kerry Walsh-Jenning’s p1440 Foundation that specializes in sand volleyball training. The Liberty Collective courts will also be used for multi-sport sand training. These partnerships will bring training, leagues, tournaments, and professional volleyball to Liberty Collective.

The owners and developers are Mike and Heather Ewers of Liberty Township. “It is important to us to bring a fun, family- centered establishment to the place we live in,” says Heather Ewers. “We hope Liberty Collective will be the gathering space for the community to come together.”

West Chester Chamber President & CEO, Joe Hinson, expressed excitement for the project noting, “This day, August 1, 2023 will go down in history for Liberty Township. Design and construction for the project is being provided by Phoenix Architecture and Kiesland Development Services both of Cincinnati. The Designer for the complex is Eli Hariton, who was featured on HGTV as runner-up of Design Star: Next Gen.

The complex hopes to open by Spring of 2024.
